Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the mobile game Train Rail Puzzle (the "Game") uses, why, and the choices you have. The Game is published by Pentaio ("we", "us"). If you have a question, write to anilsorgit6060@gmail.com.
1. The short version
- We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location.
- The Game shows ads, which are provided by Google AdMob. Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first. On iPhone and iPad you are also asked whether ads may use your device's advertising identifier.
- We measure how the Game is played (for example which level was finished and how many hints were used) to make the puzzles better. You can switch this off in Settings → "Usage data".
- Purchases are handled by Google Play or the App Store. We never see your payment details.
- Your progress can be saved to your Google Play Games account (Android) or your iCloud account (iOS) so it survives a reinstall.
2. Information the Game uses
| What | Why | Who processes it |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress: completed levels, stars, coins, hints, settings | To run the Game and keep your progress | Stored on your device; copied to Google Play Games Saved Games or iCloud if available |
| Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA, only if you allow it), IP address, device model, operating system, ad interactions, consent choices | To show ads, limit how often they appear, measure them and prevent fraud | Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) and the ad partners it works with |
| Gameplay events (level started / finished / restarted, time and steps taken, hints, ads watched, purchases made), an app instance identifier, device model, operating system, country | To understand which levels are too hard or too easy and to fix problems | Google Analytics for Firebase (Google LLC) |
| An anonymous app user identifier, the products you bought and receipts from the store | To deliver purchases and restore "Remove Ads" on a new device | RevenueCat, Inc., Google Play, Apple App Store |
| Your Google Play Games player account (Android) or Apple ID (iOS), used by the system for cloud saves | To save and load your progress across devices | Google LLC, Apple Inc. |
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything other than the purposes listed above.
3. Advertising and consent
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game shows Google's consent form before personalised ads are used. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → "Privacy options".
On iOS, the Game asks for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt when it starts. If you decline, ads are still shown but they are not personalised with your advertising identifier. You can change this later in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security → Tracking.
On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the system settings under Google → Ads (or Privacy → Ads).
Buying "Remove Ads" stops interstitial and banner ads. Rewarded ads, which you choose to watch for a reward, stay available.
4. Usage data (analytics)
Gameplay measurement is on by default and can be switched off at any time in Settings → "Usage data". When it is off, no gameplay events are sent. Where the law requires consent for advertising, the analytics data is not used for advertising.
5. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)
- Contract: running the Game, saving progress, delivering purchases.
- Consent: personalised advertising and access to the advertising identifier.
- Legitimate interest: measuring how the Game is played, non-personalised ads that keep the Game free, and fraud prevention. You can object by switching off "Usage data".
6. How long data is kept
Progress on your device is kept until you delete the Game. Cloud saves are kept until you delete them from your Google Play Games account or iCloud. Firebase Analytics keeps event data for up to 14 months. Purchase records are kept as long as the stores and tax law require. Ad partners keep data according to their own policies.
7. Children
The Game is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the Game and data was collected, contact us and we will help delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not collect your name or email, the quickest way to delete data is:
- switch off "Usage data" and reset your advertising ID;
- delete the Game, and delete its cloud save from Google Play Games or iCloud;
- or email us with the request. We may ask for the app instance ID shown to you to find the data.
You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. They use safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. No method of transfer or storage is completely secure, but we and our providers take reasonable measures to protect it.
